JUNE 2005

Proposals for a Substation at Cleve Hill, Graveney

An application to build an offshore wind farm in the outer Thames Estuary has now been made by London Array Ltd.

The proposal incorporates a new electricity substation at Cleve Hill, Graveney, where the electricity from the offshore wind farm would come ashore.

As part of our ongoing consultation process and following our exhibition in February, London Array is holding another public exhibition to allow visitors to view the substation plans and feedback comments.

The exhibition will be open between 10:00 – 19:00 on Friday 17th June and 09:00 – 13:00 on Saturday 18th June, at Graveney Village Hall, Graveney.

We hope to see you at the public exhibition and look forward to hearing your views on our proposals.

Exhibitions about the project are also planned for Whitstable, Margate and Clacton-on-Sea. The actual onshore applications will be made available later for public viewing by Swale Borough Council and Canterbury City Council.
