Due to the scale of the project, the offshore works would be constructed in phases over a number of years. The actual construction programme will depend on a number of factors, including the date that full consent is granted. If full consent is granted in 2007, construction of the first phase of offshore works would not start before 2009 with commissioning and completion of the first turbines a year after commencement.
